Books, books, and more books. Yesterday, Kathy and I dusted and - TopicsExpress

Books, books, and more books. Yesterday, Kathy and I dusted and went through our library. Its amazing what you can collect over time. You can review all of the phases of your life, just by reviewing your library. We have spiritual books, self-help books, gonna lose that weight books, collectibles, (in my case my Mothers writings), and those I have no idea how you got into my library books. One thing that made me laugh was all the books with a bookmark, which means I started them with the best intentions, just didnt finish them, or worse yet, skipped to the end. (Youve never done that, right?) I also found some treasures in books, those slips of paper that are priceless. All of this by a simple review of my library. What does your life look like? What phases have you been through? What memories are priceless to you, and what memories are the Did I do that memories? A review of life will cause some joy, some pain, and reveal some interesting things, but a review of life will also let you know youve made it thus far, and with Gods guidance, and with Him, all things are possible. The number 1 book on our shelves, the Bible. It has been our guidebook for life. Take some time to read yours today. 2 Timothy 3:16,17 - 16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 17 God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work. Hebrews 4:12 - 12 For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.
