Boozhoo, I started this group which I administrate when I worked at the Nett Lake Boys & Girls Club and my wife Karlene worked as Bois Forte Chemical Dependency Supervisor. The intent for this group was so I could put out information to the community when we had scheduled activities and also since I was coordinating the language immersion camp on a volunteer basis and co-coordinating the powwows here in Nett Lake, I needed a way to put out information on a day to day basis. I discovered Facebook was the perfect way to do this so I founded this group. Any other band members can post here as well and there are over 700 members in this group. I would like everyone to know that I am deeply honored that you chose to be a member of this group and to view and/or post information and opinions here, political or otherwise. Any Bois Forte band member, descendant of a Bois Forte band member, spouse or caretaker of a Bois Forte band member is welcome to be a member and post here as long as they do not slander anyone else or post on here in a demeaning disrespectful manner. I do not get paid to administrate this group nor would I want to. I do not need permission to administer this group nor does the name attempt to misrepresent any organization or individual. This group is for Bois Forte band members to be able to communicate and express their opinions with one another in a manner that is respectful, honest, and ethical.
