Boozman hails passage of duck stamp bill STUTTGART, Ark. (AP) — Sen. John Boozman says the Senates approval of a House resolution to raise the price of duck stamps will preserve wetlands and supporter future duck hunters. Under the Federal Duck Stamp Act of 2014, the price of the duck stamp would climb from $15 to $25. Boozman said 98 cents out of every dollar generated by the sale of duck stamps goes directly to the voluntary purchase or lease of wetland habitat. Boozman said the bill helps conservationists, hunters and the entire state of Arkansas. The price of a duck stamp hadnt gone up since 1991. The resolution now goes to the president.
