Messenger is much faster. Youll get new messages instantly and can reply right away. In fact, weve found that people reply about 20% faster on Messenger than on Facebook. So as your friends start using Messenger, youll probably notice them getting back to you sooner. Whats better about Messenger? Messenger is a free app that works just like texting. You can message people even if you arent friends on Facebook, and you can make free calls—including international—over Wi-Fi. You can also use the camera in Messenger to instantly send selfies, other photos and videos. Plus, you can create groups for the people you message most and send stickers. Messenger is a faster, more reliable experience, and were excited to have more people try it out. Well be focused on adding new features and making improvements so that it continues to work great for everyone. Can I see my messages anywhere else? After you install Messenger, all your messages and contacts will be waiting for you in that app. You can also still see your messages on the Facebook website. Whats next?
