Borjora Visit on 19th July’2014 : A Report Life is not a smooth sailing at Purbanchal Ananda Foundation, - A home for 32 orphans of different ages with their teachers, cook & caretakers. For each and every aspect of their life they have to struggle hard. It is difficult for them to arrange for food 3 times daily for 40 heads including children & staffs. The children go to the nearby Govt.aided Schools, about 1.5 km to 2.3km away. The nearest town is Borjora, at a distance of 7km approximately. For each and every requirement of their day to day life, they have to visit Barjora. Main modes of Commutation are Bicycle, Motor-Cycle, etc. No bus/auto/tracker is available from this village to Borjora Town Road. Boys & girls stay at separate building in one courtyard with proper fencing. The main building has a common dining space. It has been built by SAIL. Ananda Foundation have a Text Book Library for their children but they have not sufficient books excepting the Govt. Sponsored Text-Books available from schools. But students need to read reference books also to get good marks in the examinations. They also have to read books like “Chatro-Bondhu”, and “Sahayeka Books” etc. for every subject even in their day to day classes. They even don’t have enough fund to buy copies. In the field of games and entertainment also they are terribly lacking. They do not have any playing kit of Cricket, Football etc. One Carom Board, and 2 sets of Ludo are all they have. There is no soft toy for any little children. The children do not have sufficient clothes, winter garments, blanket etc. They are not so privileged to receive regular contributions from any person or institution or from any other sources. In spite of all odds they are trying their best to run the organization to provide proper food, clothing, education & health care facilities to these poor orphans. These children need your support to live a better life and to fulfill their dreams. Be with them. Contribute every possible way so that life becomes a bit easier for these poor angels.
