Born Again Christian Ministries Inc. Founded by Bishop Vic Porras on 1986 I came to know my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at the age of nine. In 1959, Uncle Pedro Alejandrino came to our place at Masayan, Veruela Agusan del Sur and he evangelized our whole family. My father Pedro Porras and my mother Rosalina Alejandrino were blessed by God with ten children in which I am 7th child. Our eldest brother Cresing who is now with the Lord, was the one who sustained us by the word of God from 1959 to 1964. After I received water baptism together with my mother and brother Tetoy, Bro. Cresing went back to Davao for another job. Pastor Victoriano Pajo, a native of Dimiao, Valencia Bohol in the same year came and took place as our pastor to maintain feeding the word of God to our whole family. He was a good pastor for us and when it comes to spiritual matters, Pastor Pajo was very strict to us who was an instrument by God to reform our family as a good example in respect to parents, elder brothers and sisters. We got from him the spiritual blessings on how to control ourselves from worldly songs, radio dramas and comics or magazines that would cause weakness in our spiritual life. We became strong in the spiritual aspect, until God put the burdens in our hearts to serve the Lord through His ministry. From 1959 until 1970, there were no other Christians in our place except our family. Pastor Narcing answered the calling of the Lord in his life and became the first pastor in the family. Pastor Pajo finally became the husband of my sister Inday Cayot. In 1970, Pstor Pajo sent me to Bible School in Libertad, Butuan City, before he died in May 3, 1975. I started my ministry with my beloved wife Neneng Espinosa in 1974. We were chosen as associate pastors of Rev. Modesto Dalapu in Butuan City. In November 5, 1975, we were started the ministry in Nasipit, Agusan del Norte and Born Again Christian Ministries Incorporated (BACMI) was born on February 18, 1986. Because of the urgent call of God, we were sent to Manila for pioneering ministry. God’s works continue to grow with the support of members, pastors together with our children who work with us: Pastor Reuel Tarlac Pastor Amivic Hong Kong Pastor Charisma Cebu Bro. Zuriel 2nd year high school I received the office as Bishop on May 8, 1998 through Rev. Cres Tandog, the General Superintendeent of General Council of the Assemblies of God.
