Born on this day in 1947, sadly we lost Cecil Womack last year but as a singer, songwriter, producer and musician he has left some magical memories and although slightly newer that the majority of tracks featured here, the pounding Love Wars with Wife Linda, although he had previously been wed to Motown star, Mary Wells.. Cecil is one of the famous Womack Brothers that included Bobby but against them he held his head high working and producing hits by The Ojays, Patti Labelle, Four Tops, George Benson and others. youtube/watch?v=qtt9OyI9vME
