Bosso Wants More League Games On TV Abia Warriors Football Club Coach, Ladan Bosso, has warned that the country’s football is heading for the precipice if stakeholders fail to bury their differences and face the task of re-building Nigeria’s most cherished sport. Bosso’s warning is coming against the backdrop of ongoing nocturnal meetings by some power mongers to stoke the embers fire of intrigues bed evilling the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF). The former Flying Eagles handler, also called for more live telecast of Nigeria Premier Leagues matches, saying the broadcasts will no doubt bring sanity and fair play to the league. Bosso lamented that past and current crises in Nigerian football have dealt a blow on the league . “The greatest problem of Nigerian football is the crisis emanating from the Glasshouse where managers and administrators are fighting themselves. All these fights reflect back to the clubs,” Bosso said. “And it causes a lot of setback for the clubs. I want to appeal to all football administrators to bury their hatchets and mean well for the Nigeria football.” The former national team coach who left Bayelsa United early last season to join Abia Warriors, also advocated for live telecast of more Glo Premier League matches as a way of ensuring sanity and fair play in the league. “I want to use this medium to appeal to the LMC to make sure that all matches are televised live. It will put more sanity into the league. It will also mount pressure on referees to do their job without prejudice and to be at alert because they know the world is watching. “If you look at the league, most of the managers and administrators, especially chairmen of the clubs hate seeing SuperSport crew at their home games, but they want Super- Sport to follow them to their away matches. What does that mean?” he added
