Boston Area construction firm seeks vets 2014-11-29 For Fusion Cell As a retired USArmy officer, I now work for a Construction Management firm. Our firm, MOCA is looking to hire veterans who have been deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. We would like them to have various levels of planning, design, construction and logistics experience/expertise. Typical tasks if hired by us could be managing projects, estimating, construction inspection, …. The work will be in Boston; be both outdoors and inside; and could include weekends. Work could be more than eight hours/day. If the candidate has a BS, MS, PE, AIA or CCM, that is a plus, but not essential. The key will be having excellent communication skills and being willing to learn new skills. Pay would be in the range of $60K to $120K/year. Our company MOCA, founded in 1999, is an Owners Project Management firm based in Newton MA, with seven offices throughout the country. MCOA assists owners by aligning stakeholders’ interests and focusing on early project definition. We always update schedule, quality, and cost as we develop comprehensive programming documents.
