Boston Update- Wednesday am: little man had another great night! Still super comfy on his vent settings and they cant really come down any more. Or if so- very little. He had PT/OT this am and tolerated well. They were pleased with his strength and the loosening of his little thumbs. He is gaining weight really well and a good pace now that hes getting all of this much needed nutrition. Hes quiet the little chunker! Praise God! His NP wants to do his first breathing trial today. She has been so involved with him the past 4 months that she wants to watch him while hes doing it to make sure he looks comfortable and not struggling for breaths. So it may be this afternoon before she can get around to it. Prayers folks! Im so thankful for that tube but Im ready to say goodbye to it. 💙 will update as soon as I hear how breathing trial has gone!
