Both our mothers could sure use your prayers. Its usually my mom, but Shirley my mother-in-law is not doing well. Shes in the hospital in Amarillo, with her artificial knee badly infected. Many people dont know her story, but she walked out of her house out on the farm 7 years ago to go mow. She fell and broke her leg, and she never stepped foot back in her house again. Shes had several unsuccessful surgeries, infections, a GI bleed that almost killed her, and now she also has congestive heart failure. Through it all, she has had the best attitude. Jerry has been there for her at every step. Its been the hardest decisions anyone should ever have to make. My mom is out of the hospital and recovering from pneumonia and everything else. Shes trying to get well enough to get on the plane on Tuesday to go take chemo. I knew she was tough, but shes tougher than even I thought she was. Keep the prayers coming.
