Botswana Meat Commission (BMC) was established by act of Parliament to promote the development of the country’s beef and related beef products globally. BMC strives to generate suitable wealth for the Botswana livestock industry through efficient and equitable procurement, globally competitive operations and achievement of maximum market value for products. 1. SENIOR SECURITY OFFICER- Francistown Duties: The incumbent will report to the Plant Manager and will plan, organize, supervise and control the cost effective provision of outsourced security services at Francistown plant through development and implementation of security procedures in order to ensure the security of the Commissions property and assets. Key performance areas: o Minimize theft o Implementation of agreed Security procedures o Customer satisfaction Qualifications: Diploma in a security related field or equivalent Security management qualification. Experience: At least five years as security officer responsible for physical security of a large industrial site, or equivalent police experience. BMC pays an attractive market related salary and benefits. These positions are on a 3 year renewable employment contract with a fixed attractive gratuity payable at the end of the contract.
