Bought a new car today....... only because accountant recommended we did. So we investigated the market. Looking for a 7 seat mum mobile, with car like features (no big bus). Was so lovely to have the choice of anything. Range Rover, Merc, BMW, Audi...... and decided on a Mercedes GL. When it was being priced up I sat down in the lounge area, and was given complimentary coffee and snacks. As I was sipping my cappuccino I read an article about the starving kids in Africa, and saw some very disturbing pictures. The man came back with a quote $150K. I just in my heart could not do this..... not when I knew what than money could do in Africa. So I settled for a lovely Nissan Pathfinder, PLATINUM colour, with everything that a mum requires. Safety, room to move and hands free..... plus DVDs for the kidlets. It is so lovely to have the choice but not to be driven by money..... People often think because I earn a fair whack of cash I must be selfish, alone sitting on my pile of cash someone put it last week. So far from the truth. I am the happiest, richest and most fulfilled I have ever been and I cannot wait to send a huge cheque to those less fortunate xxx PS anyone wanting a cheap CX9 its for sale PSS No offence to those who do have a luxury car either..... its all about choice and I am not saying you are not a good person at all.
