Bought it. Drove out to Lake Isabella to pick it up, seemed like just minor stuff is needed to get it primo- so I gave the crazy dude his $1800 and went to put it on the trailer.. one of the tire straps was snapped. They rented me broken shit, the rat bastard. I let him know, then cut it to fit one of my ratchet straps and niggered it. Got it the 330 miles home over really shitty roads. 14 hours on the road and a lot of bullshit later.. hopefully my hypothesis is right in that the guys mechanic was a tool and scammed him.. or just didnt know his shit. Needs: -Pan seal -2nd Electric Fan -Speedometer -Exhaust Manifold [His mechanic did the shittiest weld Ive ever seen to it, pretty sure it leaks] -Carb Rebuild -Steering Column Bearings -Power Steering Pump.. possibly. Other than that, seems pretty solid. Even after riding on a trailer for 5 hours, it started up in one rotation. Shifts Fine, gearbox is tight. Rides nice. No odd noises. Nice interior.
