Bought my 69 Eliminator when I was 19, after my freshman year in college. After a few weeks of haggling, I got the seller down from $2,200.00 to $1,750.00, which happened to be all the money I had. She was my daily driver for the next six years, and consumed virtually 100% of my money and spare time for most of that period. It didnt help that every time I got her running good, Id take her to the drag strip, and usually break something.
