Bought some giblets today, so heres the recipe: Wash and cut the giblets into bite size pieces. Fry chopped onions in oil, add Cape herb and spice Portuguese Peri Peri. Allow the spice to cook, stirring continuously. Add the giblets and stir well until browned. Add garlic and chopped tomato. Add extra water to cover the meat and simmer until soft - about 3 hours. The sauce should not be too thin or too thick. Do not add salt as the spice has salt already. I intended serving it as a starter for lunch tomorrow, and was only going to make one pack (R15.99 for 500gms) but decided to make two packs and just as well as I can see it being devoured quickly.
