Bourbon Manor It is fitting that the new Bourbon Manor – the world’s first bourbon-inspired bed and breakfast – is located in Bardstown, the Bourbon Capital of the World. The nine sumptuous guestrooms, tucked into two historic homes (the circa 1810 Federal Home and the circa 1810 Antebellum Mansion) in a wooded park-like setting, are named for classic bourbon cocktails. There is the antique-laden Hotty Toddy with four-poster king-size bed. The Manhattan Honeymoon Hideaway exudes romantic with feather bed, towel-warmer and deluxe spa amenities. The Mint Julep offers a Jacuzzi for two and a view of a secret garden. The Sweet Old-Fashioned beckons with its king-size canopy bed with plush two-inch mattress topper. The bourbon theme carries over into the inn’s Bourbon Bar where guests can enjoy a flight of bourbon or a glass of wine accompanied by tapas made with locally-grown produce, cheeses and meats while listening to the jukebox. Breakfast is all about elegance, with a full country gourmet breakfast served on crystal and china at intimate tables positioned to capture the warmth of the wood-burning fireplace.
