Boutique - Where Art Meets Fashion opened at the Embassy of Finland, Washington, D.C. The exhibition was originally displayed at the Amos Anderson Art Museum in Helsinki as a part of the World Design Capital Helsinki 2012 program. Combining art and fashion, the exhibition is built upon artist-collaborations, bringing together actors from different fields of visual culture, such as visual art and design. The artist collaborations consist of Paola Suhonen – Mikko Iljäs, Rauha Mäkilä – Juliana Harkki, Minna Parikka – Jani Leinonen, Katja Tukiainen – Samu-Jussi Koski, Tero Puha – Teemu Leinonen and Salla Salin – Timo Rissanen. Keep in mind that the exhibition is only open during the weekends.
