Bouvier owners with kids, what are your thoughts? ...just wanted to run by you some experiences from the last two weeks that have me quite stressed and terrified. I had a trainer come to the house two weeks ago and she told me she was appalled I would have Bouvier with kids in the house and that they are not a family dog and potentially very dangerous. Compared Bouviers to a German Shepard, Rottweiler, Siberian Husky, etc. She said Bouviers dont belong in Fairfield county. So needless to say I found a new trainer who happens to have a Bouvier and while she said she did feel they were a family dog she expressed how tough they are. Her coworker was very surprised also that I would have a Bouvier with young kids. These things have me very upset and uncomfortable. I feel as though Im in a terrible dilemma, maybe you could lend some advice.
