Box Cricket League (BCL) is a 10 Overs cricket tournament reality show where different franchise teams consisting of TV Actors would compete for the Box Cricket League title. The tournament is to be started in 2014 and would take place every year. The first edition is the BCL-1 to be held in 2014. It is currently produced by Ekta Kapoor, Creative Director of Balaji Telefilms[1] in association with Marinating Films. Instead of typical cricket, this is a reality show with cricket compromising of eight teams where instead of cricket players, Indian Television Actors & Actress would compete against each other compromising of 150 such actors selected by Ekta Kapoor.[2][3] The tournament would air on Sony Entertainment Television (India).[4][5] This tournament is a cricket tournament plus a reality show whereby not only onground activities and cricket matches would be brodcasted but the practices of the players along with their room discussions and strategy discussions would be telecasted. In this tournament the girls would not be mere cheer leaders but would also be a part of the team playing along with the male players.
