Boxing experts...Im calling you out! Why in the world do you all have Ezzard Charles rated so highly? I mean, the guy had 25 losses and not even 100 wins! Now I understand a fighter can have some bad nights...but 25 of em? Sorry, Im not putting u on Mt. Rushmore with 25 Ls dude. Way too beatable for someone hailed as an ATG. Im sure he learned from his losses and got better...but not enough to stop him from taking more Ls. Compare the records of Robinson, Armstrong & Archie Moore. Those guys had way more fights and a way better win/loss ratio. They even had over 100 KOs - more KOs than Charles had wins! Im not saying he wasnt a seasoned world class pro. Im not saying hes not HOF worthy. Im just saying that somewhere along the line, he got overrated. So Toney studied his moves? Yeah dude may have had some good moves, as did Jersey Joe Walcott...but those moves didnt stop Ezzard and Jersey Joe for that matter, from taking a large amount of Ls. And Toney may have done their moves even better than them in the end. And Carlos Ortiz... He was a flash in the pan. The Donald Curry of his era... (Harlem Shakes away slowly to give the experts an opportunity to respond.) Defend yourselves and these greats you rate so highly! :)
