Boy, it was a real journey, going back to the place where I spent 5 1/2 years studying Ayurveda! Returning 5 years after graduating from the B.A.M.S. brought back too many memories! When I was there, there were so many struggles & complaints and 5 years seemed endless...yet looking back now, I realized I have such a love for the place, a place where I was allowed to study without distractions...well, for the most part, aside from the mandatory escapes to see frivolous Bollywood flicks! I have so much gratitude for my friends and colleagues who supported me through thick and thin through the tough course of study, and especially to my teachers, who are so dedicated to their work, and serve many who cannot afford medical care. In many ways, they are the unsung heroes who sustain Ayurveda as a living tradition with eminently practical applications. Well, Im jammed full with memories of Jamnagar right now!
