Boyer Coe. Like Casey Viator, Boyer is from Louisiana, and also like Viator, Boyer spent some time training under the guidance of Arthur Jones (Nautilus inventor and High Intensity Training guru). At the young age of 22, Boyer won the AAU Mr. America title in 1969. That same year he won the NABBA Amateur Mr. Universe title! Winning the 2 biggest amateur titles in the world at such a young age is really an incredible feat! He won the NABBA Professional Mr. Universe in 1973 and 1975. In 1976, he joined the IFBB and competed in 38 IFBB pro shows from 76-84. He finished in the Top 5 in all but 4 of them!! In 1981 the man won 7 IFBB pro shows, including the World Cup and the World Grand Prix! His physique was tremendous, though he DID have unusual muscle bellies in his abs...very shallow. But his biceps were amongst the best ever! He had a very visible split in the two heads! (@this_is_bodybuilding)
