Brace for Tough Times, warns Fr Bwalya Alliance for a Better Zambia leader Father Frank Bwalya says Zambians should brace themselves for tougher times given the increase in fuel prices. Fr Bwalya said it was surprising that President Michael Sata who made a lot of noise about high fuel prices was now overseeing the same things he became popular for condemning. He said the increase will trigger a general increase in prices that were already high. “Zambians should brace themselves for tough times with the increase in fuel prices. President Sata is on record during his days in the opposition saying the reasons fuels was expensive was because of the many taxes but what has he done since coming to power?” he said. He said the PF had made it even harder for poor Zambians to survive with mealie meal prices also increasing. Fr Bwalya said the price of mealie had doubled within just two years of PF rule with fuel prices following suit.
