Bradford Robotic Telescope (BRT) remote telescopes based in Teide, - TopicsExpress

Bradford Robotic Telescope (BRT) remote telescopes based in Teide, Tenerife. I signed up to this site, (following a conversation with John Downing). Basically you fill in a small menu, selecting an astronomical target, the choice of scope is automatically set, you choose filter type and exposure time. The request is only scheduled for completion after five tests are conducted passing practical parameters. I took the following images via the remote scope, the only unfortunate thing of it all is the copyright remains with the site. I recently imaged Comet s/2014 Q2 (Lovejoy). Messier 81 The Andromeda Galaxy M31. ((Copyright belongs to BRT)) you are allowed 10 waiting jobs at a time, when one completes you can add a further request. Weather as always can be a factor. I was quite pleased with the results as My scope would not be suitable for these images.
