Brag alert: Once again my buddy Tag Anderson came through for me in a big way last night. We got called out of town to do a track for a residential burglary. The scene was already heavily contaminated as several officers had walked all over the neighborhood searching for suspects before I got there. Tag worked right through all of it. He ended up tracking well beyond where the officers had searched and through what we consider the hardest surface to track on (beach sand). The suspects were later apprehended only about 50 yards from where we tracked them and stolen property was recovered. Many of you dont know this because I hadnt put it out there yet, but I am currently working on getting my certification as a Police Patrol Dog Trainer and helping teach a class of new police dogs in Camden County. We just started some very basic tracking with them on Friday. Its really neat to see them at their beginning and know that they will soon be capable of finding the bad guy on a real job as Tag has done so many times throughout his career.
