Bragging is what this Mama does because I am so proud of my children! I remember when Courtney got her first job as a nurse and was so overwhelmed! She said things like I didnt learn any of this in nursing school! But I knew that she would catch on and become a great nurse! Since then she has come home telling me stories ranging from a mother dropping her newborn off at the hospital and she rocked and loved on that baby for hours telling the infant that is mommy loved it so much that she wanted a better life for it than she could give it to stories of talking with dying patients about God and even holding ones hand comforting him telling him it was OK to let go and staying with him after her shift ended so he wouldnt be alone. And I remember Andy first being hired as a police officer. I want tell some of the funniest stories that I have heard but I will say that he learned very quick that those duties was much more than riding around eating donuts and drinking coffee. He has definitely come a long way and takes his job very serious. This week Courtney and Andy both have made me very proud to call them mine! Andy along with the rest of the Greenville special team brought home the first place competing against many big cities in Alabama. And after working 6/12 hour shifts, Courtney came home with a card from one of her patients family that really put tears in this Mamas eyes. As I read all the great things that this family had to say about my daughter and her nursing ability while caring for their loved one, all I can say is Thank you God for my blessings! I love my family so much!
