Brain Injury Awareness is everyday for me ~ I used to wonder why there was no information about Great Grandma Hedda C Peterson Roman in the files Pop had. And there wasnt any in the research I had from my grandfather about his mother, while there was information about his step mother. At first I wondered if maybe Great Grandpas second wife was the reason there was no information. Then when I found out about a fire in 1912 when they lost everything was the reason. Now that I found out a ton of information about Great grandma Hedda recently. Then finding out that not only she, but her parents and her siblings all emigrated to the US like she did. Which got me wondering if Grandpa had ever met any of his mothers family? Or if my father ever met any Peterson or Jensen/Jonsson relatives? Her parents could have died before my father was born. But it is possible Heddas 5 brothers (including the one who brought his wife and son with him when he emigrated) would have been living during my fathers childhood. I looked thru all the picture inventories for the names. No luck, none of them were in there.
