Brainfart of the night - Just thinking out loud. You can comment, agree or disagree with my thoughts. I wont debate you on it because you are entitled to your opinion as I am entitled to mine. That being said, here it goes. There are calls to impeach the president over the DAP which the SC declared unconstitutional. By following his campaign slogan daang matuwid this is by all means a possible outcome, IF he is man enough to stick to it. Own up to the mistake, dont duck it. Now heres the catch. If the impeachment does push through, and if the president does get impeached, who then becomes president? Following our laws, its the VP! The same VP that wants to run for the highest office in the land. Arent we giving him the position on a silver platter? Now, the next scenario. VP becomes president via the impeachment. That gives him 2 years, plus the political power to run an election from the highest office in the land, so most likely another 6 years! 8 years of the republic of B! But wait! Theres more! Isnt he part of the United Opposition? The same mishmash of so called political parties against BSA? So what happens to the current detained politicians accused of plunder? The same politicians in the same mishmash of political parties that B is a member. Do their trials proceed? Most likely. Will they get convicted? Probably. Will they ever see real jail time? NOPE! Most likely theyll be pardoned by Pres. B. and since they were pardoned, theyll most likely run for office again, and win again! Ah, our political landscape. Thats all for now. My brain just farted.
