Brainfart of the night - Militant groups are up in arms protesting the arrival of US President Obama here in Manila. They object to the interference of the imperialist/capitalist Obama Regime in the affairs of the Filipino people, specially with the territorial claims of China in the South China Sea/ West Philippine Sea. They object to the expanded mutual defense assistance treaty that would give an increased presence of US troops in the Philippines and in the region as a whole. Heres my take on it. If you really want to protest, go to the Chinese Embassy and stage your protest there everyday. You insist on peaceful negotiations via the UN, which we are already doing and to which the Chinese government turns a deaf ear. Heck, get on a boat, go to Ayungin Shoal and rotate with the Marine detachment stationed on the grounded ship there. Get on a boat and protect the fishermen being harassed by the Chinese coast guard for supposedly entering their territorial waters. It may be a bit too radical for you? Are you willing to pick up a weapon, and march to the front lines if it does come to that? If all you can do is grandstand, burn a flag, and show blatant disrespect to a visiting foreign head of state, and not do any of the suggestions posted above, then shut the f**k up! Offer a concrete solution and not just make noise. Ok, thats all for now. My brainfarted.....
