Sade as well as Masoch stories made me exclude the word deviation from evaluating a language process: youd still have those guys saying you deviate when making a mistake (especially about learners). Obviously, language work is neither sadism nor masochism, and there cannot be a course line same for all (from what could you deviate, then?) And language learning is intellectual. Also Mozart was a guy intelligent enough to write good music (one of the few I like, within the classical genre). How do you get to see anything intelligent about a deviation? Maybe it is some contemporary Aberglaube?
