Brampton’s Paul Dean finds fulfillment when volunteering By Radhika Panjwani BRAMPTON – Paul Dean, a volunteer at Brampton’s Knights Table, is the 2014 recipient of the George W. Harley Award for outstanding volunteerism. The annual award by Kiwanis Club of Brampton recognizes an individual whose selfless work has made a difference to the lives of many people. Dean, who was a pastor in Pakistan, handles multiple responsibilities at Knights Table, an organization that helps alleviate poverty. When at the agency, he serves food, provides counselling, undertakes translation work and runs the Individuals Conquering Addictions Now (ICAN), a program he started to offer support to people battling addictions and substance abuse.
