Branch Manager Responsible for the overall management of the branch. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES • Ensure the environment is clean and tidy at all times • Ensure safety, proper storage and recording of all stock • Ensure there is no pilfering of cash or stock by employees • Maintain adequate stock at all times • Maintain proper accounting records and prepare bank lodgments daily • Identify and recommend opportunities to increase the branch’s profitability • Ensue timely opening of branch and follow opening and closing procedures • Ensure products are available to be served to customers at all times • Maintain proper pest control and temperature records • Assist in ensuring the appropriate level of human resources is maintained in all branches in collaboration with the Regional Manager. • Ensure adherence to company policies and operational procedures by branch personnel in collaboration with your Department Head and the Human Resources Department • Identify and develop a back-up • Identify and recommend appropriate training for the optimum development of employees • Monitor performance standard of employees and provide coaching in respect of performance and discipline in collaboration with Human Resources Department. • Submit performance appraisals at least once yearly • Ensure the holding of monthly staff meetings • Ensure the promotion of harmony among employees • Effectively handle complaints of customers and employees • Ensure turnaround time for serving customers is maintained at a maximum of 180 seconds. • Identify and recommend processes which will improve service quality • Ensure the usage of standard lines by front staff • Ensure that a pleasant countenance is maintained by all staff. • Ensure products of the highest quality are served at all times. • Any other duty that may be assigned HYGIENE AND DEPORTMENT • Hair must be covered at all times • Proper uniform is to be worn • Name Tag is to be displayed • Ensure that nails are kept short and clean – no nail polish • Good hygiene must be exhibited at all times • Full shoes are to be worn – No slippers AUTHORITY The incumbent is authorized to: Make decisions and take appropriate action that may be required to ensure that the goals and objectives of the company are met. REPORTING AND ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS Reports to : DIRECTOR Direct supervision given to : Branch Personnel Liaise with internally : Other Branches, Head Office Departments Liaise with externally : Customers, Suppliers EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE • A minimum of a Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent • A minimum of one (1) year experience at the managerial level or three (3) years at the supervisory level • A current Food Handler’s Permit REQUIRED SKILLS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT(S) • Excellent Human Relations and Customer Relations • Excellent motivational and interpersonal skills • Ability to communicate effectively both oral and written • Knowledge of the company’s guidelines and operational procedures • Good decision making, planning and problem solving skills • Must display initiative and ability to work independently • Ability to stand for extended hours splashjamaica/jobdesc.aspx?jobid=10629
