The Role: The Brand Manager role is responsible for compiling, analyzing and communicating technical information and specifications, regulatory data, as well as research findings to the Marketing, Sales and customers. This role is also responsible for researching and developing new products to maintain Ranpro’s leadership role in the industry. Reporting to the VP of Sales and Marketing, the Brand Manager is responsible for: •Developing and executing a detailed marketing plan that includes short and long term corporate goals •Developing and executing an online marketing strategy that integrates to the overall marketing plan •Creating and directing point of sale marketing opportunities •Collaborating with the sales team to ensure they have the required tools and resources •Budget management, delegation of tasks to the Marketing Assistant and report writing •Gathering and analyzing customer and end user feedback, competitor information and industry trends •Providing technical knowledge and product expertise to Ranpro employees and customers •Translating technical aspects of product specifications in to customer centric materials •Attending customer meetings, liaison with prospects and participating in relevant industry events •Identifying and researching new product opportunities; participating in product testing as required For this position we require: •Completion of a post secondary degree or diploma in marketing or business •Three to four years experience in brand management or product category management •Excellent communication skills, including public speaking and report writing •Ability to translate technical information so it is well understood •Ability to effectively compile and analyse data •Research and investigation skills •Knowledge of testing requirements and standards •Strong computer skills, specifically MS Office •Attention to detail, time management and organizational skills •Ability to work in a high growth, fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams •Industry knowledge is an asset including exposure to garment, industrial, commercial or safety environments If you are interested in applying for this position, please forward your resume to: [email protected].
