(Bravado) Being indispensable does not make one irreplaceable! They say, the squeaky wheel gets the grease, but sometimes, the squeaky wheel gets replaced. If you have defined a troubling aspect of your life and made a decision to change it – it is good to remember, complaints go up hill! In my experience, the only benefits to sharing my challenges with my peers, is that it takes the power out of them, and occasionally, a caring friend may offer suggestions. “Many hands make light work.” Conversely, when I have gotten down to causes and conditions, and am ready to affect change, I must take the issue up the food chain. Today I know and understand the inherent risks of rocking the boat, but I also know, there is no sense in repeating myself, or in living with circumstances for which there is a simple solution. Today I will muster the courage to put the hot topics on the table, along with what I see as the solution, then let the chips fall where they may. For today, I realize; life is all in how I respond to Plan B! Awareness, and acceptance without action is an exercise in futility.
