Braves win! Braves win! ESPN reports: Bloomfield Hills, Mich.-The rain held out long enough for the Braves to rally, then shut down the, until tonight, undefeated Reds. Braves rookie sensation, Larry Mace (#21), came up to bat in the heart of the rally 0-3. With runners on the corners Mace watched the first pitch into the catchers glove. He stepped out of the box, adjusted his helmet, dug in, and smiled (he actually smiled). On the next pitch the rookie proceeded to burn the ball up the 3rd baseline, knocking in the game tying run. Mace advanced to third on the next at bat. And was driven home after that. The Braves staved of the Big Red Machine in their final at bat to win 23-22.
