Bravo! :) (Y) Although this is in the rural area I dont think people realize that it does take quite some time for the authorities to respond in a metropolitan area as well. Many authorities are already on calls and thus it takes them time to get to the address of the victim. However ponder the fact: What if all the on duty authorities are already on calls that are just as life threatening?? This is what will happen when even less people are employed than they are now. In that case the only way to survive is to have a gun or know Ninjutsu / Jeet Kune Do or get the drop on them (surprise them). What if there is no way to escape? What if three burglars / attackers are in your home and are by or in the way of all exits? Then you better have some very elaborate martial arts or have a gun, crossbow, or conventional bow. A taser only works once, so what do you do with the other two? Pepper spray them to death?
