Bravo to my favorite cat ladies. Day three, Friday, of trying to catch momma cat after rescuing her 5 three week old kittens and with no luck using kittens as bait. Trapper Jan was called in to help. Not only my best friend, but the brilliant mind and muscle behind many amazing rescues. So a net (well really a sheet) was set up over a window where momma had entered the garage of the condemned house through broken window. Trap set and two volunteers posted outside holding up sheet and foot on trap. Jan flushed momma out the window and smack dab into the trap. Our church- going and God fearing volunteer Eileen was heard loud and clear stating “That was effing amazing!” Great job and chalk-up another success and reunited babies and mom. Huge thanks to all and to Marblehead shelter for taking them on for foster and to adopt when kittens are old enough.
