In current FIFA rating, Super Eagles of Nigeria is 30th best team in the world while Tahitian national team is in 137th position. Tahiti team is made up of ONLY one professional player (Steevy Chong HUe). They are amature side. Majority of their players in this squad are farmers & teachers. Tahitian Team arrived Bazil 10days ago , while Nigerian team arrived early morning of Sunday ie 36 hrs before the match with Tahiti. Though Super Eagles will miss their big stars like Onazi, Ikechukwu Uche, Victor Moses, Odemewinge,Kalu Uche, Joseph Yobo ,& their striker Emenike etc.they have chances of beating Tahiti very well. The Coach said the team spirit is high & that he has respect for every team in d tournament & will approach Tahiti the way he will approach Spain.
