Breakfast If you dont like eating first thing in the morning then certainly dont force it! However smart choices can be made to ensure you dont snack later in the day because of hunger setting in. Do - be prepared to eat later in the morning; take prepared food with you or have prepared at work. fruit smoothies, nuts, lean meats, natural or Greek yogurts. Dont - snack on sugary cereal bars, belvita & nutrigrain bars. There are also better ways to start the morning than having large bowls of sugary cereals such as frosted shreddies. This amount of sugar in the morning could be the main cause to your mid morning slump and over demand on caffeine to keep you going, not to mention the high amount of calories you take in through low nutrient dense foods.
