Breakfast was delayed slightly as I re-tied the remaining buckets hopefully high enough to dissuade Moosette from standing in them. The Stud Duck was less than pleased over the delay. I had no sympathy for him and told him it was his own fault for telling her that story about the magic bucket. Just because Fatty Patty Princess fooled him and he had to ride all the way to Shaker Village on three legs (the fourth being stuck in a bucket) was by no means justification for pulling the same prank on another. Especially a baby. I left him to ruminate over cause and effect.
