Breaking Curses Sin may have entered your ministry/church, thus giving the devil legal right to curse it. Some saints are involved with and are dealing with the unclean (witchcraft and witches). The church and its saints can be cursed because of vows being broken (Josh 7:10-12). To break curses sent from God: (1) Acknowledge and confess the sins you have committed against him and ask for his forgiveness. (2) Ask God to remove the curse He has placed on you or on the church. (3) Command any demons that came into your life through the sins to leave you or the church at once in the name of Jesus. To Break a curse from Satan: (1) Acknowledge and confess your sins and ask God to forgive you. (2) Speaking out aloud, (In the name of Jesus Christ, I take authority over this curse of _________ and I command it to be broken now! (3) In the name of Jesus Christ command all demon spirits associated with that curse to leave you or the church now ! Curses can be inherited. When a curse is placed on a family, it usually includes all descendants so that the entire family or bloodline is destroyed. An example includes that of mental illnesses and certain physical illnesses passed down through the generations. Other family curses include the following; divorce, incest, poverty, uncontrolled anger, prostitution, unbelief, cancer, diabetes etc. Refer to the following scriptures for biblical support; Ezek 44:23; Deut 30:15, 19 ; Hosea 4:6. It is important to know your family line; who your forefathers were and what they were involved in. Were there any curses on their lives etc? Ask the Holy Spirit to make you privy to whatever curses were placed on your life or on the life of your family. Confess the sins of your forefathers and seek forgiveness for those you know about and also for those you do know. If one is dedicated to satan and leaves his service, he is seen as a traitor thus a curse of destruction is immediately activated in that person’s life by those demons. To break the curse of dedication to the devil : (1) Acknowledge and confess the sins of your forefathers and repent. Ask the Lord to cleanse you and completely separate you from their iniquities; (2) Openly renounce any dedication placed upon your life to satan’s or any demonic service. Proclaim that you are now a christian in Jesus’ service; (3) Command all demons placed into your life as a result of this dedication to leave at once in the name of Jesus Christ; (4) In the name of Jesus Christ, take authority over the curse of destruction that was activated through the broken dedication and command it to be broken immediately; (5) Command all demons associated with that curse of destruction to leave you at once in the name of Jesus Christ. It is important that you live holy. Never leave any open doors for demons to re-enter your life. Once they re-enter, they come one mission in mind…to kill and destroy.
