Breaking: Former Imo state lawmaker, Hon. Kingsley Nkemka, assassinated. A former Imo state law maker, Hon. Kingsley Nkemka has been assassinated and his body currently lying cold in the morgue. Nkemka was shot dead on Tuesday night at Nworie-ubi , Mbaitoli LGA. According to information from IMO STATE BLOG, Nkemka who recently declared his interest to represent Mbaitoli /Ikeduru Federal constituency at the green chambers was scheduled to hold an pre-campaign event today. He had gone to the village to settle pending financial obligations and was returning back to Owerri when his vehicle was surrounded by five motorcycles. All five assassins were said to have opened fire at the same time and disappeared into thin air when they were convinced their victim had been eliminated. Hon. Kingsley Nkemka represented Mbaitoli state constituency at the House of Assembly in 1991. Until his gruesome death, Nkemka served as the Special Adviser on Administration to Speaker Benjamin Uwajumogu. He was also one of the most trusted aides of the Speaker.
