Breaking NEWS: A delegation led by Governor Okoth Obado, friendly MCAs and his supporters were scheduled to have a meeting at State House today. The meeting was planned to issue a formal apology to President Uhuru Kenyatta over the rowdy Migori rally last Monday when showed were thrown at Obado. Close to 300 people arrived at Technical University along Nairobis Haille Selassie Avenue but later went to Uhuru Park as they waited for Obado. Currently the meeting which was to be started at 10am has not occurred as president Uhuru Kenyatta didnt get an appointment for the visit and has gone for a visit in Isiolo. Most MPs skipped the meeting which they said was hurriedly planned without their involvement. We only heard people were heading to State House yesterday night and considered the delegation as organized by the county government and not for all county leaders, Joseph Ndiege, Suna West MP said. Earlier on Monday, Suna East MP Junet Mohammed had faulted Obado for not consulting national leaders as the main problem that caused chaos. Next time Uhuru want to come to Migori he should contact popular leaders on the ground, not people who plan an important tour in their kitchens, Junet said.
