Breaking News.....! IN THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT OF LESOTHO. Adv Leaba Thetsane, KC has won a case against the government of Lesotho, in which government was trying to retire him on grounds of his age, yet the court has found and ruled otherwise. Mr Thetsane is the Director of Public Prosecutions in this kingdom. His success in this case must send a strong message to government, they should learn to give negotiations an upper-hand as against blunt litigation, taking into consideration an embarrassment they suffered last week Friday, when a Fraud and Corruption case against the Deputy Prime Minister and five others was withdrawn from the Maseru magistracy by the prosecution. And, though there are some people with the hope that the matter shall be reopened later, the privileged information in the hands of the author allege that, the truth of the matter is that a lawyer that drafted the summons, behind the back of the DPP is the one to face the music this time around. This is the third case in a row that the government loses in the courts of law. The first one, similar the DPPs involved the Attorney General, which was followed by the one between Nonkululeko Zaly who was for her reinstatement as Principal Secretary, Ministry of Communications. I hear, I fear.
