Breaking News Out of Geelong ! It has been reported that early this morning an overweight Real Estate Agent scaled 1650 steps at the Bird Rock, Jan Juc stairs in preparation for his assault on the Eureka Climb on November 16th. This amazing ( for him ) feat saw Anthony Farmer lift the equivalent weight of 257 Volkswagen beetles ( 1967 model average weight 820kgs ) and scaled the equivalent in step number that would take him to the 88th floor of the Eureka Tower in this early morning effort . When our reporter caught up with him soon after he had finished his training session and asked him how he felt his response was, Well these uninterrupted million dollar views which can never be built out, the open plan of the stairs themselves enjoying a Northerly aspect as you ascend them, the proximity to the Jan Juc Hotel, public transport just across the road and being only moments away from the Torquay shopping village and cafes really inspired me !
