Breaks my heart that at a time when we should b focusing our energies and attention to those who have served our land as well as those who survived that which was our past in war and in peace. That all this is overshadowed by disgusting news which is quite literally on repeat throughout the day. I hope to visit the war museum this sunday and spend time surrounded by all that is hilighted there whilst wishing the ignorant ones using this day to pursue their selfish agenda (i.e. white poppies) instead ; take the time to visit a leigion .. perhaps a home for the aged and talk to them about their experiences and gather much needed knowledge and insight into what war is and all it encompasses. Lest ... we ... forget!
