Breathtaking & Pristine Outdoor Setting We have been to a place of untold beauty where a river meets the ocean. Vertical limestone cliffs dot the landscape from the inland jungles to the beaches, and out into the ocean into an archipelago that scatters across a serene bay. The soil here is fertile and supports rainforests full of birds and monkeys. More than two centuries ago, a community was established at the mouth of the river. Legend has it that before the community’s founding, an ancient sword was unearthed in its place. Ever since, the community adopted the word “sword” in its local language as its name: Krabi.
