Breeder: Bushveld Bengals Current Owner: Wouter Watermeyer This is a very sad story...this Bengal girl called Sophie is 6 years old (waiting for date of birth from breeder) she is sterilised. Sophie was a breeding queen who lived her whole life in a cattery with hardly any human contact, after she was done breeding the breeder rehomed her to a home with small children, one of which was a new born baby, Rosie was fine until the owner started restricting her and locking her in a room at night and Rosie started to wee on the bed...she then gave Rosie away to the people who have her now, unfortunately this home is also not the correct home for Rosie and inexperienced with the breed which led to more weeing...I have just had a long conversation with the breeder and she has recommended I put Rosie to sleep due to the fact that she feels that Rosie has been damaged - This is NOT what I do and I am determined to find the right home for Rosie...I am a qualified behaviourist and I know that most problems can be solved with the CORRECT homes and the CORRECT understanding cat loving family anything is possible....I have homed MANY cats that urinate in their previous homes and after placing them correctly the urinating stops. The home I am looking for must be: Preferred Bengal experience or VERY dedicated to THIS cat Home during the day as Bengals get lonely (or most of the day) NO children (she was scared of the todlers) Will NOT close this cat out of any rooms (she seems to have huge issues with this) Will have a little enclosed garden to venture into or at least a balcony with some plants on. (she is scared of big gardens) Not a busy household just 1 or 2 people And most of all somebody who will be prepared to listen and to dedicate time to this cat and understand her needs I know this is a tall order but it is seriously her last chance and I can not make a mistake with her next and LAST home!!
