Breeze Against The Storm I am besieged of late of a saddness that finds me alone feeling happy. For it IS in these moments of rippled reflection upon that playful stream of Life, while i lean into it to wash away my sweat and tears that i focus behind myself and see ONLY a sky filled with swirls of wonder that has drifted past so many others such as myself day apon day uncounted. Mine mind has been forced to gaze upon a rippled Ocean that has been churned only on the surface by Winds of doubt that is only benefited by a few, but yet i know...I KNOW... that beneath these ripples of uncertainty, there ARE leagues deep of serenity, washing past me in so many directions the acheivements of others that will forever remain unnamed while we on this surface... can only hear the selfish whispered recollections of those that steal from those accused of feeling nothing. They do not understand what it is they parrot...but they have the means to make their bawling in public forum a matter of issue. This they do only for popularity and again i am reminded to be happy in my saddness for them...for it IS through they...that we remember the forgotten (never realizing that history shall always recall them pointing directly to those they have tread upon, demanding that we forget). The hot sands of Time warming our feet and burning the soft skin between our toes as we trudge ever forward towards an unknown destination. Never recalling that every grain of sand is an acheivment...every dune...a failure! Yet again that Wind prevails upon us, and if we choose, we can lean down and listen to it shifting the grains against each other creating a whisper that so many of us interpret as change but never hear as unity. The falling rain drops against the canopy of a forest being softly brushed by yet again...The Wind, creating a soothing symphony of grace. Stand alone in one spot for only a moment and yet you feel yourself leaning in the direction of the leaves as they let pass over themselves a force that is not only greater than themselves but also gentle when not fierce, becuase it is accepted that the two...are the same.
